It's been an incredibly long time.
Let's see--I'm engaged and getting married May 30, 2009.
I live in an apartment and like a grown up.
I'm going on tour with the University's Chorale in the UK from Jan 7-Jan 16.
I guess that's all for now. I'm in my first senior year and will (hopefully) graduate Spring 2010.
I still like Jesus and grilled cheese.

I don't really have anything on which to update. Except I start my job tonight. I watch a little boy and a little girl Tuesdays and Thursdays and sometimes other days. Kristen watches them Mondays and Wednesdays. So we get to share and have fun all together!
I'm going to class for a long long time now.
Eph 5:2

Damon was definitely the highlight of my entire semester.
I am exhausted but I haven't laughed that much in a long time.
Now it's time to write the paper I've put off the entire semester that's due on Tuesday. Except I'm exhausted and have other work I have due tomorrow. We'll see how much I get done tonight.
God is truly amazing.
I am so blessed.

Eph 5:2

PS--Knee surgery is Dec 19. Bring me lots of flowers and books.

I know I complain a lot. But I can't stand it when people complain non-stop.
PS--I'm in college for 5 years now.

I think that's all. Damon is coming to college Nov 9!! Yay! I'm excited!!

It's been a long long time. I've wanted to update but Xanga didn't want me to.
What has happened? Well, I'm a junior in college now. Chris owns a house. I have bronchitis. I live in an apartment and actually feel as though I'm almost an adult. I have some pretty awesome room mates. I found out that there is a great possibility that I am going to London in January 2009 to do some small touring with TU Chorale.
In my life with Jesus things have been somewhat placid. Life is chaotic and I can't quite hit a groove with anything. I'm getting very fed up with the way Christians are portrayed in the media. I am also sick of the overly conservative Christians who give my Savior a bad name. There is a verse that I've been trying to live by. It's on a shirt I have that says "Walk in Love." The verse is Ephesians 5:2--"Live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." The more I see this verse and really digest what it means the more frustrated I become with Christians. There are so many Christians that persecute people because they are gay, because they have abortions, because they don't agree with the conservative view to life. News flash--you aren't loving these people. The only one who has the authority to judge is God. He is the beginning and end. He started the world because He loved us...and He died for us because He loves us. He does not pick and choose who He loves, we all have the opportunity to love Him as well. Many Christians will counter that the Bible says homosexuality is a sin and sinners go to Hell. Well, aren't you a sinner? I sure know that I am a sinner. I live a life of sin. Intentional sin? Not really. But Christ's blood covers ALL sins. We are all created equal. God created all of us and loves all of us. He covered all of our sins. The people who are against abortion--yes I understand where you are coming from. I really do. I will have to say that I am pro-choice. I don't feel that anyone has the right to control what people can and cannot do to their bodies. Alright. I said it. You can argue with me, but that is how I feel. I would never have a abortion, but I do not want to stop anyone else in a decision regarding their bodies. Back to the Christians...they just argue everything and say everyone is going to Hell. How can you be loving toward everyone if you condemn them to Hell all the time? I will love everyone. There is something lovable in everyone. God put us here to love Him and love each other.
Why is that so hard to do? I love everyone. I love them whether or not they love Jesus. Yes, I want them to love Jesus because I don't want anyone to spend eternity alone. Even the people I've had the least amount of love for in my life...the unlovables of the world (past and present) do not deserve that separation.
Plus, if everyone isn't in Heaven...how can there be a never-ending PS2 game? And who will I play in tennis? Because when I'm in Heaven, I'm going to rock at tennis.
That's what I have for this evening.
Please, love everyone. Don't tell me that you can't because they chose to live a life of sin..blah blah blah. Get over yourself and realize you are a sinner. Talk to them and not down to them.
Ephesians 5:2
